Hillingdon, West London – Family-owned Sahan Cares has won the national Purpose Before Profit category as part of The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards (BBEA).
The Purpose Before Profit Award recognises businesses that redirected their attention away from their daily operations to focus solely on providing essential supplies or services during Covid-19 for their communities in 2020.
Sahan Cares provides high quality, tailored home care and support services for adults and the elderly across West London. They offer dependable care services delivered to clients in their homes by trained, specialist carers who offer compassion, reassurance and friendship.

The team was among several winners to receive their awards at a ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Tuesday, November 9.
BBEA is a new UK business awards programme launched to celebrate business success and resilience in the wake of Covid-19. The initiative aims to showcase the best of Britain’s business persistence, innovation and entrepreneurship, and recognise the potential within leaders of established enterprises, most promising start-ups and new SMEs.
It caps an incredible 2021 year for Sahan Cares, having been awarded silver in the Community Business of the Year Award at the SME National Business Awards 2020/21, and won the Health and Wellbeing Business of the Year award at the West London Business Awards.
Apart from home care services, Sahan Cares also facilitate specialised, in-house training for disadvantaged groups and works with local authorities to provide sustained and flexible job opportunities.
